The Italian Iris Society, with the sponsorship of the Florence Council and the collaboration of the Donatello Group and the Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella, organises a national Painting Competition on the subject of "The Iris in the Art".

The allowed techniques are: oil, pastel, water-colour, engraving and sculpture.
Competitors have to fill in a form by 5^th June 2003.
The works will remain on show from 15^th to 22^nd October 2003 at Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella - Via della Scala 16, Florence.
